Los Claveles is a RCI Gold Crown Resort, situated in the lovely coastal town of Los Cristianos in Tenerife, and is about a mile from the safe sandy beach with the nearby harbour providing boat excursions and fishing trips. There are many varied restaurants and bars, and gift and souvenir shops a few minutes walk from the resort.

The large heated swimming pool (with lifeguard) is overlooked by the poolside bar and restaurant, which provides a varied menu of drinks, snacks and meals which can be enjoyed on the terrace. There is live entertainment most evenings. An on-site supermarket caters for all your needs, and the resort is beautifully landscaped and maintained and includes tennis courts for the sports minded.

The villa is situated in a quiet position on the edge of the resort, and its two floors are equipped and furnished to a very high standard, with a full kitchen and dining area with oven, hob, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, fridge-freezer and washing machine. The comfortable lounge has satellite TV with DVD player, and leads onto the large balcony with sun loungers and a table and chairs. The villa has air conditioning and ceiling fans for comfort in summer. On the ground floor is a good sized bedroom, with doors opening on to the patio, bathroom with over-bath shower, WC and sink. There is a second WC and sink in a separate room. A hair dryer and iron and board are provided, also linen and towels. Pool towels and safes can be rented, and there is a weekly maid service.

Onsite facilities include a supermarket, car-hire, live entertainment, medical facilities, and there is a children's pool. The weekly welcome meeting is very informative about what is available both in the resort and on the island, and is an opportunity to book any trips or excursions you may wish to make.

Los Claveles receives excellent reviews on the internet, and this week for sale (week 24) is an excellent time of the year to visit, or exchange for a week elsewhere.
