This is a superbly maintained and well appointed 3 bedroom, prime site location, overlooking the 18th fairway of the stunning 71 par Carrick Golf course, Loch Lomond and across to the clubhouse and spa. The bedrooms are all ensuite with shower cubicles, and can be configured as doubles or singles. They all have wardrobes and dressing tables plus bedside cabinets and lamps with hairdriers provided. The master bedroom ensuite also includes a good sized bath, as well as a separate shower cubicle. Some toiletries are provided, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner as well as bars of soap. The 2 back bedrooms have patio doors, looking across to the 18th fairway. Upstairs is open plan, with a large living area (child gate at the top of the stairs), bathroom, a recessed area with a pull down double bed, telephone and wifi. There is a good sized kitchen area with fridge and separate freezer, washer drier and dishwasher. Washing up liquid and a small supply of dishwasher tablets and washing powder is provided, along with washing up brush, cloths and spare bin bags. All cooking utensils are included, with plenty of storage space for shopping. The dining area has large square table with 8 chairs, plus 2 bar stools at the breakfasting area. The living room has 2 large leather sofas and 2 leather armchairs, plus a table. The TV has a built in DVD player. To the rear of the living area is the balcony, with 4 chairs and a table. This overlooks the 18th fairway and across to the clubhouse and spa, which are within a 2 minute walk from the lodge. There is ample dedicated parking on site, which is shared between the 3 lodges in that area.

The lodge week is fixed, however, for a small admin fee, the week can be exchanged depending on availability. The week can also be split into a 3 night and 4 night stay at different times. The Carrick is included in the Interval International worldwide exchange system. This allows for swapping your week with another like for like in the likes of Europe and the Americas, or for alternative holiday options such as cruises. All can be arranged through their dedicated travel agents.

The use of the Carrick spa is free for all staying at the lodge during the week. There is also a 50% discount on the golf fee, for all guests staying during the week and a 10% discount on golf retail at the golf shop on site. The spa comprises several saunas, steam rooms, an indoor hydropool, a full size pool with a separate Jacuzzi, several treatment and relaxation rooms, a café area and the key feature, the outdoor rooftop infinity pool, overlooking the 18th green and across to Loch Lomond and Ben Lomond. There is also a small gym on site as well as the Claret Jug restaurant and bar downstairs beside the golf shop and clubhouse. The leisure club at Cameron House is also free to use during the week stay. The pool includes a children's area with a water slide. There is a free shuttle bus which regularly runs between Cameron House and the Carrick. You can call to arrange pick up times, from your lodge, if wanting to go to Cameron House or the Boat House for a meal. A discount card is provided on arrival which gives a 20% discount on all food and drink in the resort, 7 days a week, with a 7pm restriction on Friday and Saturday. Spa treatments are also discounted by 20% during the week, however, the use of the Spa experience, saunas and pools etc, is free. Spa bookings in advance is advised, especially as numbers are restricted to avoid overcrowding.

There is shopping available in nearby Balloch, as well as bars and restaurants. The Indian and Chinese restaurants in Balloch, provide a delivery service to the lodges. Lomond Shores, also at Balloch, includes various interesting shops and cafes, including Jenners. There is also a sealife centre and a bird of prey sanctuary. Great to visit with or without children. There is also a retail park in Dumbarton, which is approximately 20 minutes by car, heading back towards Glasgow. This includes M&S food, Asda, Morrisons, Halfords as well as Macdonalds and Frankie and Benny's.
