Week 1 is New Year week! It runs from 30th December each year, arrival 4pm, depart 10am. Guests are invited to celebrate New Year in style- a selection of Hogmanay celebrations range from a traditional Ceilidh to disco or live music, events vary each year, lodge services send details and booking forms to lodge owners each year, these event require booking and are chargeable. Alternatively the lodge offers a fantastic setting for a private celebration. There's parking for 2 cars outside the lodge, with additional parking nearby. This lodge is a luxury fully equipped self-catering house within the grounds of the beautiful 5* Cameron House Hotel on the shores of Loch Lomond.

Fully self-contained it is arranged over 2 levels and sleeps 8. On the ground floor there's a large bedroom with king-size bed, fitted wardrobes and a dressing table. This room has a large en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. Also on the ground floor there's a twin room complete with fitted wardrobes and a dressing table. This room has its own en-suite shower-room.

Upstairs, there's a further twin bedroom again with fitted wardrobes and a dressing table.
This room has use of the third bathroom that doubles as the guest WC, located across an internal hallway. It features a shower and the lodge's very own sauna! Built into the fitted furniture in the lounge area of the large open-plan living space is a pull-down double bed, which folds away when not in use.

The spacious fully furnished dining/lounge/kitchen area overlooks the 9-hole golf course, with further views to Loch Lomond. There is a full-width balcony with space for al-fresco entertaining, complete with a table and chairs. The kitchen is equipped with appliances including cooker & hob, microwave, fridge/ freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and drying cupboard. It is fully kitted out for self-catering.

If you don't fancy cooking the hotel complex has three restaurants, serving food ranging from top quality haute cuisine to good bar food. Locally there's a very good range of restaurants.

Leisure time is well catered for too- there's a 9 and 18 hole golf course (the latter located at the sister complex The Carrick which is a few miles away along the Loch, guests can use a shuttle bus. Tee time is chargeable and has to be booked. The hotel has a large leisure complex with swimming pool, gym, tennis, squash, cycling, etc.

The Cameron House estate is situated in the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, within easy reach of spectacular highland scenery and walking areas. Glasgow (with its own airport) is a 40-minute drive away, or can be reached by train from Balloch rail station, within walking distance of the lodge (approx. 2km away). The city offers a brilliant selection of chain and independent shops as well as restaurants, bars, museums, everything you'd expect from a former City of Culture.
NB. Owners are charged for electricity used during the week and other services used such as telephone calls from the lodge. Dogs are not allowed on the estate and smoking is not allowed in the lodges.
