La Vista is situated on the Caribbean island of St Maarten, and is only minutes away from the airport. The resort is made up of two parts, the unit for sale is in La Vista Beach Resort which as the name suggests is situated on the beach over looking the ocean. There is ample car parking at the resort for owners. It is RCI affiliated and has Gold Crown status.

The unit is a studio that sleeps 4 and has a shower room, kitchen and dining and lounge area. The floating week is available to book weeks 18 - 45 which is May through to November.

The apartments are on 3 floors, 2 accessible by stairs but the ground floor is easily accessible to all. All apartments look out to the pool and the ocean, and the top 2 floors have balconies and the ground floor units a patio. Units are air conditioned and well equipped with TV, cooker, fridge, microwave and DVD player. Washing machines and dryers are located nearby. At the Beach resort there is a swimming pool and at La Vista there is an infinity pool, bar and The Hideaway restaurant which has live music twice a week.

The island is only 8 miles by 6 miles and has many beautiful and easily accessible beaches. La Vista resort is in Simpson Bay which is on the Dutch side of the island, there are lots of good restaurants and shops within easy reach of the apartment. Near the resort there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy water sports, fishing or just take a relaxing cruise. The capital of the Dutch side of the island is Philipsburg which is only 15- 20 minutes drive away. Here there are many varied shops including jewellers, electronics and duty-free shops, all based near the harbour where you can see the cruise ships on the days they visit. Philipsburg is a vibrant town where you can have some retail therapy or while away the afternoon in one of the many bars or restaurants.

The other half of the island is French and has a delightful mix of Caribbean and French style and cuisine. The capital Marigot is a great place to spend a day either at the local market, visiting the fort or enjoying one of many restaurants situated on the marina which is a great way to take in the ambiance of this lovely place.
