The studio apartment is on the second floor of The Royal Savoy Resort, there are lifts to all floors. The Resort offers 5 star luxury with extensive views of the pools, the sea and the Harbour. The balcony houses a table, chairs and sun lounges. The accommodation is fully furnished to a very high standard, it sleeps 4 people comfortably, it is very well equipped, including safety deposit box, iron, dishwasher, in fact it's like home from home.

The Resort is set right on the sea front with Palm trees, plants, flowers etc. there are 2 outdoor pools with a jacuzzi, a child's play area with its own small pool, there is a swim up bar and outside cafe and also a superb restaurant that sits alongside the pool. The indoor pool area also has a gymnasium. The wellbeing centre is not far away as is the hairdressers. There is a well stocked library, games room and Wi-Fi. The piano bar is a popular venue offering nightly entertainment. The staff at the Royal Savoy are very friendly and are always available to ensure your stay is the best that it can be.

Funchal itself is a 10 minute walk from the Royal Savoy, here you will find lots a shops, bars, restaurants and cafe's for you to try. A visit to the flower and fruit market is a must for visitors to Madeira , also the cable car up to Monte, where the view over the bay of Funchal is breathtaking. We have been visiting Madeira Island now for 10 years and it still takes my breath away when we leave the airport for the short taxi ride to the hotel. The Royal Savoy and Madeira offer a fantastic holiday for adults and children alike, it can be as relaxing or as energetic as you wish it to be.
