Beautiful views across the Loch to Ben Lomond - that's why we chose our lodge. And we chose the time of year - the third week in November - as it's a great time to visit with less tree foliage to spoil the view. If you're a keen photographer, you can get some great shots from the lodge balcony.

The lodge is detached, so you have perfect peace and quiet and aren't overlooked by anyone else. And you can make the week exactly how you want it - either perfect relaxation or fun-packed adventure including plane trips over Loch Lomond.

It's also the shortest walk from any of the lodges - just five minutes - to the shops at Loch Lomond Shores, including the House of Fraser and a regular farmers' market.

The lodge has two en-suite bedrooms, with a third separate bathroom, so there's plenty of room for friends to join you - and plenty of parking too. The lodge has a very well-equipped and spacious kitchen, making it ideal for entertaining, with plenty of local supermarkets providing all your needs. You also have satellite TV and Wi-Fi.

The lodge has its own sauna and jacuzzi, and the estate itself has a full gym/spa (including two swimming pools) at Cameron House. There are a number of different bars and restaurants in the grounds or you can head out to neighbouring Balloch or Glasgow itself - less than 30 minutes drive away.

The resort is on the A82 north-west of Glasgow so you are well-positioned to drive through the stunning scenery of north-west Scotland and the Highlands.

The original Loch Fyne restaurant is less than an hour away, and after lunch you can drive into Inverary past the beautiful Disneyesque castle.
