The Portman Apartment is situated in the above named Hotel in Bournemouth, Dorset which has RCI Gold Crown award. The Hotel sits on top of Eastcliff and only 50 yards across the road is the most wonderful view of Bournemouth Beaches. 7 Miles of them all told. The beaches are very safe to swim in and crystal clear on a beautiful summers day. The beach shelves very gently so there are no unexpected dips to worry about - so very safe for young children to swim in. They are one of the cleanest beaches in the country. They have separate ones for dog lovers. The view is out of this world. There is a Victorian lift which you can get on to take you down to the Beach if you didn't want to walk down the cliffs zig zag path. You can see the Isle of Wight in the distance. Also Poole Harbour and Harrys Rocks and Sandbanks (where the rich and wealthy live).

The Apartment overlooks the hotels picturesque gardens and there is a view of the sea. You have your own personal parking space. It has recently been refurbished (as all the Timeshare Apartments) to a very high standard therefore giving the status of a GOLD star hotel. It comprises of a large bedroom with a Kingsize bed. It has en suite bathroom/shower room. The view overlooks the gardens and sea. It has a large lounge that seats 6 people. One is a sofabed. TV and DVD player. Wi Fi connection and telephone in bedroom and also in the lounge. A fully fitted kitchen with oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher etc. Everything you need in a kitchen if you want to cook. If you don't there is a restaurant in the Hotel which serves breakfast lunch, afternoon tea and dinner at a reduced cost to all Timeshare Owners. You have all the facilities of a hotel. The maid comes in once a week to clean up and give you change of towels and also fresh linen if required. The Apartment complex is connected to the hotel by lifts and corridors. Along the corridors there are function rooms and Conferences and Weddings are held there. Its such a beautiful venue for a wedding and lots of the photos are taken out in the picturesque gardens or across the road on the beach. As well as Frederique's restaurant there is a bar lounge, library, heated indoor pool (which is so warm its like a bath!) Jacuzzi, sauna and spa where you can have a massage, manicure or even have your hair done in the Hair Salon. There is also a gym. The outside pool is also heated and there is also a childrens pool. Its surrounded by palm trees and terraces and situated in a very sheltered spot. They sometimes have BBQs by the pool..On a beautiful summers day you really think your lazing in a pool abroad somewhere and not England UK.

The clifftop overlooks Bournemouth Pier and Bournemouth town centre is five minute's walk away where there are shops, restaurants, theatres (top shows are shown there which travel the country) and cinemas. Larger shopping centre is two miles away and another attraction where there are multi cinemas, bowling and large swimming pool with waves and water chutes etc. Lots to do locally. There are lots of places of interest within an hours drive away. Portsmouth harbour with its history and museums is only 45 minute drive away and Southampton is where you can pick up a ferry and cross the channel to visit the Isle of Wight which a very picturesque quiet island. Worth a visit. There's Monkeyworld nearby where rescued apes of all sorts are looked after in a very natural habitat. Adults and children will love it here. Dorset is a very picturesque county and just an hours drive away you enter Devon and Cornwall where the scenery is absolutely beautiful. Very rugged. There are lots of Theme Parks for children and adults also if you like that sort of thing. These have the usual rides but some are themed such as Peppa Pig World which is wonderful for children aged between 2 - 80!!! There are Zoos and lots more. For those who belong to the Natural Trust then a visit to Brownsea Island is a must. Its a 45 minute ferry ride away to a most beautiful tranquil place. You see all sorts of wildlife there - no cars or roads just woodland and beaches overlooking Poole Harbour. Definitely worth a visit. If you don't belong to the National Trust then you can still go onto the island for a small charge.

Bournemouth Airport is just five miles away and if you fancy a visit to the Chanel Islands they have a small plane which takes you to one of them (Jersey) which is well worth a visit.

You may ask why we are selling this apartment. Well we have three other weeks which are on the top floor in the Penthouse. We wanted larger apartments so our family and friends could stay with us and managed to acquire then as they became available.

The Apartments are managed via the Owners and there is an Annual General Meeting each year normally around the end of May beginning of June where finances and any matters are discussed.

The price of this amazing Apartment is £4,500.00 for the lease which runs to 2068. The yearly maintenance fee is kept to a minimum by the Owners Committee and is currently around £390.00
