This is a fully equipped narrowboat suitable for a relaxing family holiday or for a romantic few days away. Excellent facilities and staff on site at the marina and they are more than willing to give advice and help whenever they are asked. All the boats are maintained to a very high standard and are very comfortable and surprisingly easy to handle. The staff will give you a hands on demonstration of running the narrowboat before you take her out and accompanied us for a short while until we felt confident enough to handle her ourselves; which did not take long at all.

The marina is just outside of Nottingham and so easy to get to and of course this made it very easy to stock up with shopping before we set off. There a dozens of little riverside pubs to visit if that is your preference or you can cook and eat on the boat. We did both as and when to mood took us.

Ideal for a relaxing, slow moving, scenery appreciating, chill out holiday but with the option to moor up and enjoy the sights and sounds of the many tourist attractions in the area too.
