The Lodge is for a fixed week normally coinciding with the English Schools Autumn half term holidays. Changeover day is Saturday. There is a small shopping centre in Balloch.

The Lodge is situated high in the grounds of Cameron House Hotel. It overlooks the Wee Demon 9-hole golf course, and Loch Lomond, with views of Ben Lomond in the distance. Cameron House is situated in Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park.

Glasgow airport is about 40 minutes away. Glasgow has main line railway stations and good motorway links to the rest of the UK. Other cities nearby are Edinburgh and Stirling, which are major centres for historic Scotland with interesting castles. Tarbet is a small village nearby which has a railway station which offers easy access to the West Coast Highland line with links to The Western Isles, Mallaig, Fort William, and Ben Nevis. To the West of Loch Lomond lies Helensburgh, with Hill House designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh. There are also views of the Clyde. Boat trips are also available from Balloch. A long distance walk can be taken along the West Coast Highland Way on the East side of Loch Lomond which stretches to Fort William. There are many golf courses within easy reach.

The Lodge owner has use of the facilities of Cameron House Hotel. It is a first class hotel with good restaurants, and has a large bar area which has lovely views over the grounds. There is a swimming pool with a separate pool with a water chute. The pool area has a sauna, steam room, and Jacuzzi. There are also squash and tennis courts and a well equipped fitness centre. Cameron House has a marina.

The Lodge is very comfortable, well equipped, and maintained. It is on two levels. In the hallway there is a cupboard with a washing machine/dryer and a drying cabinet. Downstairs there is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, both with on suite facilities. Upstairs the main room combines a full size kitchen, sitting and dining areas and further sleeping accommodation. The sitting room and both bedrooms have TVs. There is a shower room with toilet and a sauna on this level. Outside the main room there is a large balcony, where one can sit and enjoy the glorious view of the evening sun over Ben Lomond.

We are selling because we are both in our mid 70s and find the journey tiring as only one of us drives. We have owned for over 20 years and have many happy memories.
