Located on the shores of Loch Lomond within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, De Vere Hotel Cameron House and Lodges are a 20-minute drive from Glasgow Airport. The hotel complex and lodges offer 5-star luxury, a championship golf course, leisure facilities and a rooftop infinity pool and 4 restaurants to suit all tastes.

Our luxury lodge which sleeps 6, is situated in a quiet location, next to woodland overlooking a small pond, the golf course and mature trees, with designated parking spaces.

It has two en-suite double bedrooms with TV's on the ground floor and a king size pull down bed located in the open plan living and dining area on the first floor, with panoramic views from the balcony. A further shower room with toilet and sauna is also located on the first floor.

There is a fully equipped kitchen including double oven with integral grill and microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer, high quality crockery, glassware and cooking utensils. Flat-screen TV/DVD and iPod docking station; with satellite and some Sky channels. Beds are adorned with Egyptian cotton sheets, bathrobes (master bedroom only) and free toiletries are also provided.

Located at south end of Loch Lomond within walking distance of Balloch Country Park and Loch Lomond Shores Retail and Visitor Centre.

The Hotel is fully accessible to all lodge owners and provides excellent leisure facilities both on site and at the sister resort of The Carrick, with its award winning spa featuring 17 treatment rooms and roof top infinity pool overlooking Ben Lomond. The leisure facilities located at Cameron House include indoor pool complex, sauna, fitness studio and gym, fitness classes, squash, steam and spa pool.

Fine dining is available at Martin Wishart's Michelin starred restaurant, whilst the Cameron Grill serves local salmon and beef. Other restaurants include the New England-style Boathouse seafood restaurant and Claret Jug bar (located at The Carrick).

A free shuttle service available between the resorts and restaurants is available from outside the hotel front entrance.

There are golf facilities to suit beginners and experienced players with an 18 hole championship course and also a 9 hole course available. Other outdoor activities including clay pigeon shooting, falconry, tennis court, fishing, squash, mini golf, bicycle rental, games room, library, children's playground and Kids' club.

Loch Lomond is one of the most beautiful sites in Scotland and can be viewed via the sea plane which takes off from outside the hotel and pleasure boats and paddle steamers from Loch Lomond Shores and Balloch.

For those who enjoy a gentle stroll along the lakeside there is access directly from the resort up the loch to the north and via Loch Lomond Shores to Balloch Country Park. For those who seek a challenge Ben Lomond and a number of other peaks are accessible via a short drive.

An easy and comfortable train journey from Balloch to central Glasgow (three quarters of an hour) and a further hour to Edinburgh, with free parking in Balloch village situated across the road from the station.

Glasgow was the venue for the 2014 Commonwealth Games, a vibrant city with fantastic shopping, entertainment, restaurants and culture including Charles Rennie Mackintosh architecture, art school and design throughout the city.

Edinburgh has the magnificent castle, Holyrood Castle and much more to keep you entertained whether it is just for the day or a longer stay, but the close proximity makes Cameron House the ideal venue for a holiday in Scotland combining the opportunity for visiting city, town and countryside.
