Royal Savoy Resort in Funchal Madeira was built some 12 years ago and is about a 25 minute taxi ride from the airport.This is a studio apartment that can accommodate up to 4 people. It has a comfortable lounge area and bedroom area and a well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, hob and microwave as well as an excellent bathroom. The apartment on the 5th floor,served by lifts, overlooks the swimming pool area and has lovely views out to sea as well as to Reid's hotel to the right. The week is number 20 in May, a beautiful time to visit Madeira.

The Resort has indoor as well as outdoor pools, a gym, restaurants and bar. Entertainment is provided most evenings. The Resort is within easy walking distance of the centre of Funchal. There are a number of good restaurants within a 5 minute walk of the Resort. Funchal is served by an excellent public transport system which makes it easy to visit the various attractions and gardens for which Madeira is famous as well as taking walks by the levadas, a feature unique to Madeira.

Their is car parking available at the Resort should you choose to hire a car.

Royal Savoy is affiliated to Interval International and during our period of ownership we have exchanged the week for weeks in the UK, the USA and Sicily as well as visiting Madeira.
