We purchased the timeshare in November 2003, which, at the moment, has a further 18 years to run until December 2032. We have a genuine reason for selling as my wife no longer wishes to fly, otherwise we would be keeping it, as it has provided us with the ideal break just before Christmas.

The studio apartment is located on the 4th floor and has a stunning panoramic view of Funchal Bay. It is the end apartment on that floor and as such benefits from having an extended balcony of over 25 feet and is therefore at the quieter end of the hotel.

The studio is south facing with the balcony catching the sun throughout the day and early evening. The November temperature in Madeira in normally in the range of 72 to 75 degrees fahrenheit, which has been perfect.

The hotel provides the normal excellent 5 star facilities that you might expect, with indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a gym, steam room and sauna. All of which are included, at no cost, with the ownership of the timeshare apartment.

The apartment has a kitchenette, air conditioning, radio, TV and video, and internet access. A daily maid service is also included.

The hotel is just a 5 minute walk from the centre of Funchal, with its wide variety of restaurants and bars. There are also supermarkets and off licences nearby.
