Located a leisurely 20 minutes walk to Funchal with its cobbled streets and many shops, cafés and bars.

Apartment has a good view of harbour and cruise ships arriving. Apartment is on 7th floor of Miramar with lifts to Miramar pools car park and street level. Is on the same level as the Village complex swimming pool, beautiful gardens and restaurant where we have enjoyed many breakfasts out doors by the side of the pool.

There are good restaurants, a bakers and coffee shop and supermarket right outside the complex. Over the years we have enjoyed the concerts held by the Mandolin Orchestra, Music from the Musicals by First class musicians and many of the festivals held in villages around Madeira.

One of the highlights in June is always the firework display held on the 4 Saturdays by different countries competing for the annual display on New Year's Eve. We have visited Madeira for over 20 years, most of them in the Village/Miramar and never tire of it.

Due to personal circumstances we have to curtail our traveling but have many happy memories of Madeira.
