This fully air conditioned 1 bedroom deluxe apartment sleeps up to 4 people. The spacious lounge includes a folding settee (sleeps 2), well appointed kitchen, dining area, DVD and satellite TV. The bedroom has a large double bed, spacious wardrobe, TV and a complimentary safe. There is additional furniture in the lounge and bedroom plus a large hall cupboard providing ample storage. A private bathroom includes bath with shower, large mirror and hairdryer.

Off the lounge and bedroom is a long wide 6th floor balcony overlooking the sea, coastal pedestrian promenade, gardens and pools area. The balcony is an ideal spot for relaxation, reading or enjoying breakfast or snacks at any time of the day as 4 chairs and 2 small tables are provided. In addition there is private access to the additional large wide ROOF TERRACE on the 7th floor from the spiral staircase off the apartments 6th floor balcony, affording uninterrupted wide sea views including shore line, cliffs of Cabao Girao, inland mountains and sun and skies all day long. Four sunloungers are provided.

All units at the Pestana Grand have been tastefully decorated and this top floor apartment is ideally located in a quiet area of the complex, not affected by possible noise from 3 lifts nor overlooked by any 7th floor hotel facilities, but within easy reach of all.

You can dine on your own balcony in the sun or enjoy the hotel catering facilities overlooking the pools area, garden and sun terraces throughout the day. Attractive restaurants on site offer a tempting range of cuisine in the evenings. Alternatively, many restaurants both locally and in Funchal town centre including those in the atmospheric old town offer a wide choice.

Amenities at the complex include large salt water heated outdoor pools, a children's pool and sun terraces. There are freshwater pools both indoor and outdoor, Sauna, Steam room, Jacuzzi, a Fitness centre and Spa providing treatments, massage and therapy. A hairdressing salon is also on this floor close to the indoor pools.

Funchal, the capital of Madeira is a bustling city and a premier resort destination with many hotels, beautiful gardens and shops.
