The 5 star Royal Savoy Resort is in the town of Funchal, Madeira and is a few minutes walk from the harbour and marina. The resort has two outdoor pools, heated indoor pool, health club and spa. There are restaurants, bar and entertainment, relaxing lounges and library.

This one bedroom apartment is on the 9th Floor (top) commanding a central position looking out over the swimming pools and ocean, where cruise ships and other sailing vessels pass. It comprises of a lounge and dining area, kitchen including dishwasher, one bedroom with en-suite bathroom and walk-in wardrobe, a second shower room for guests, air conditioning/heating, televisions in lounge and bedroom, iron and ironing board, hairdryers.

This is a fixed week apartment in June, which is during the Atlantic Festival of music and fireworks which are displayed from the harbour and easily viewed from the Royal Savoy on the
four Saturday nights in June.

The resort offers various sightseeing tours of the island and gardens and sailing trips to see the dolphins and whales and fishing trips. There are many local restaurants and shops in the vicinity and the farmers/fisherman's market in town. Travel on the local buses is cheap so that exploring various area becomes very easy.
