Wolf Run Manor is situated amongst an 8,000 acre resort community. Treasure Lake, in north central Pennsylvania, is a recreation enthusiasts’ dream, with two 18-hole PGA golf courses, two lakes with beach areas, three swimming pools, and several tennis courts to choose from. The resort complex is accessible through the seasons, and in winter the area is a popular cross-country skiing and sledding venue.

The resort is a stunning wooded area, just south of the Allegheny National Park, and also borders the Penn Game Lands. Each of the one- and two-bedroom apartments blends in with the scenery well, and once inside guests are presented with a very home-like feel. Units feature either a wood stove or a fireplace and offer fully-equipped kitchens. Wolf Run is the perfect place to relax and unwind, and forget about the woes of the daily grind in the city.

This part of the world is called Treasure Lake, and the reality isn’t far off. Particularly during the autumn, the landscape lights up in a variety of golden brown and red colours to bounce of the already green treeline, making Wolf Run Manor a great place for seasonal breaks.

There is no best season for Wolf Run Manor, since during the summer guests can enjoy great swimming and relaxing at the lake and pools, and during winter skiing and snow sports can best be enjoyed. Spring and autumn are best for nature enthusiasts.

Treasure Lake is about four hours west of Philadelphia, while Pittsburgh and Cleveland (Ohio) are both a couple of hours away driving along the I-80 corridor.
