Kilconquhar Castle Estate is an RCI gold crown resort situated in the East Neuk of Fife, Scotland. It is ideally placed, being within a 60-minute drive of Edinburgh, with international travel links, and only 10 miles from the famous town of St Andrews and mere minutes away from an array of fabulous beaches.

The Estate is set within 130 acres of mature parkland with a variety of timeshare accommodation. There is a great range of amenities for owners and visitors to utilise, including a leisure centre with indoor swimming pool, gym, sauna, beauty treatments, snooker tables and table tennis. Should the weather be good (and it usually is!) the Estate also has horse riding, tennis courts, driving range, putting green and a children's play area. During school holidays there is a full leisure programme with dedicated leisure team staff with a number of activities available. Well-behaved dogs are welcomed and there are fantastic walks either around the Estate's grounds or on the many local beaches. There are also a number of local welcoming golf courses in addition to those at the famous St Andrews for those wishing to improve their game.

There is a wide range of options for dining suiting all tastes and budgets either on the estate or in local pubs and restaurants. The Estate itself boasts both an on-site "pub", The White Cockade and a formal dining room, The Lindsay Room. There are a number of events/promotions run in both each week, which are popular. Nearby there are a number of pubs and restaurants offering a wide range of food including locally caught seafood. It is possible to have an on-line supermarket shop delivered on site or should you wish to shop for local produce the award winning Ardross farm shop is nearby in addition to the independent shops/bakery and delicatessen at Elie. The Estate also has a small shop, open each morning, ideal for essentials and the daily paper.

Woodcutter's Cottage is a unique property on the Estate being built into the original boundary wall of the Estate and enjoying bags of character. The cottage has a secluded private garden with both patio furniture and a BBQ (which we have used in October!) The cottage sleeps four and offers two large double/twin bedrooms each with patio doors leading out into the garden, built in wardrobes and a luxury en-suite bathroom. The lounge area is well sized yet cosy with leather sofas, flat screen TV, DVD player and a music system. The kitchen is well equipped with all mod cons including an American style fridge freezer. Although the property does not have a washing machine the domestic team are more than happy to launder and dry any items for you. The property is maintained to a very high standard by the team at Kilconquhar and is very comfortable.

It is with regret that we are selling Week 43 in Woodcutter's Cottage; this week usually falls in English October half term. The sale is due to our relocating and it not being practical to spend two weeks a year in Scotland (we own another week on the Estate).
