Cameron House on the banks of Loch Lomond is one of the most beautiful places in Scotland. The lodges are well equipped and very comfortable with everything one would expect from a five star resort. For those who like to eat out there are plenty of choices both within the grounds and locally in the town of Balloch at the head of the loch.

Glasgow airport is only a 20 minute drive away, but for those who like to leave the car at home for the day, both Edinburgh and Glasgow can be reached by train from the local station in Balloch. Edinburgh has of course, the famous castle, plus excellent museums and art galleries. Glasgow has just as many attractions, classical concerts, very good restaurants and a particularly good arcade of jewellery shops!! Also within easy reach by car is Stirling (for the castle) and Falkirk for the famous Falkirk Wheel.

There are many glorious walks available locally, or for those who don't mind a short car ride Loch Long and Loch Katrine are also stunning places to walk. Seaplane trips are available if the weather is good. Loch Fyne home of the original oyster bar and restaurant is about a half hour drive. Leith just near to Edinburgh has the Royal Yacht Brittania and for those like me, who love antiques, one of the largest antiques warehouses I have ever seen.

All in all it is fabulous place to go, but due to a change in family circumstances I have reluctantly decided to sell.
