Situated on the shores of Loch Lomond just north of Balloch and south of Luss, it is easily accessible by road, being 20 minutes by car from Glasgow Airport. It is an ideal base for exploring further afield to such places as Edinburgh and Stirling or Loch Fyne and the Cowal peninsular or the Trossachs. We ourselves enjoy visiting Glasgow some 30 minutes by train from Balloch. Walking locally and further away on the West Highland Way or cycling from Loch Katrine are just some of numerous alternatives available
