It is with a massive heavy heart that I put my timeshare up for sale, reason being that when I first purchased the time share I was childless. Now with two boys at school, I can no longer take up my home week because it's in term time. This was part of the reason I chose week 9 (1st/2nd week in March), because the resort was nice and quiet and child free predominately. I could of course use the exchange program with Interval International, which is excellent by the way and I have done this numerous times. I have owned my week 9 at Cameron House for over 10, very happy years. It is only a 30 - 40 minute drive from the airport to the resort.
It sleeps 4 privately and six adults in total, with the bedrooms large enough to have two small children in the bedrooms with you. Two lovely bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen for all your dinning needs. You can also have the head chef cook for you in your lodge! I experienced that and what an experience, I will never forget it. The lodge is furnished to the very highest of standards, with state of the art appliances such as Bang & Oulfsen TV & Sound System. It has it's own sauna, which is a real luxury and a lovely view across the golf course and loch, which you can view from your own private veranda that is on the first floor. You have your own private parking right outside the lodge which is nice and there is nothing nicer than walking 5 minutes down to the marina, and enjoying a nice drink looking across the Loch and at the mountains in the background, which are still snowcapped in March. This is one of the main things I will really miss, the beautiful scenery, which is breath taking.
The staff, who make you feel like royalty and the wonderful spa, the Michelin star rated restaurant, the Georgian Rooms will all be really missed as well. If you are looking for that 6 star holiday experience, look no further. Cameron House ticks every box and because of that level of accommodation and service, it gives you maximum points when it comes to exchanges. I have always been upgraded, when exchanging my weeks. For example, I went to Florida one year and stayed at the Marriott Grand Vista and they gave me a two bedroom villa with an additional connected self contained Villa attached. It was amazing! So much so I got straight on the phone, called my in-laws and they flew straight out to join us. This place should have been £500 per night - I paid £129 for the week, I made a massive saving! These deals are not rare either. I have never been disappointed wherever I have been. Most resorts in the directory being 4 star as a minimum standard.
As explained, I am reluctantly selling my timeshare as my personal circumstances have changed.
