This year we were given a newly modernised apartment on 1st floor overlooking the 2 swimming pools, with a balcony, which we had breakfast on each morning. The complex is situated some 50 yards from a shopping precinct, with a well stocked supermarket, cafe's, shops and on two days a week their is a local market. There is a good choice of restaurants within walking distance on the main street of Corralejo, heading towards the harbour, offering a good variety of food at reasonable prices. Week 15, being the 2nd week in April is a very good time of for a weeks holiday on Fuerteventura, when the weather is very pleasant and the complex is very relaxing for re-charging the batteries after a British winter. There are also some well run excursions by coach or by boat around the island and also to Lanzarote at reasonable prices, to view local towns, a national park, local markets, beaches and more.
