Vistana Resort is just around the corner from Disney in Orlando. We have taken family holidays there for the last 17 years. Owning two floating biennial weeks meant that we could stay in two apartments on the same week every two years, taking our three daughters and their families (including celebrating the wedding in Disney of our eldest daughter).

The villas are ideal, being spacious two bedroom apartments, with two double beds in one bedroom, and a master bedroom with jacuzzi bath and separate shower room. Another bathroom is accessible from the living area. There is a large well equipped kitchen and breakfast bar, a dining room and living area with large flat screen television. There is a balcony which overlooks the beautiful lake beside which I could read a book in the peaceful early morning as the sun rose over the rooftops. Here the children would go for a swim and paddle at the end of a hectic day round the parks.

The secure grounds of the Vistana Resort are beautifully laid out with a number of lakes, swimming pools and play areas. There are a number of activity and fitness centres. The Market Place is a centrally placed general store, and there are restaurants and a Food Court. There is everything you need to enjoy a holiday without leaving the Resort! But a right then a left along the road outside and within minutes you are entering Walt Disney World Resort where our children and grandchildren have enjoyed a wonderful time on every visit. As indeed have we!

Sadly, I am now no longer financially able to take them all away on that kind of memorable holiday, and they cannot afford to take over the time shares, so, reluctantly, we've decided to sell them. We've had the full value from our original investment, so have no wish to recoup the original value.

Finally, we own a week 24 and 33 however the weeks can be used on floating basis. Floating week simply means that you can go whenever it suits you (around Easter has always been our favourite time, particularly for the weather). We have two biennial time shares for sale, one for even years (33), the other for odd years (24), so if you are a family of 8 or less one time share would give you a holiday every two years, and you would pay half the normal maintenance fees. At the same time, Vistana is highly valued around the world so it is easy to exchange (in fact for more than one holiday in a year) through RCI.
