Cameron House is a five star hotel situated on the south west bank of Loch Lomond within the Trossachs National Park. The lodge is located within the grounds of Cameron House, which is part of the De Vere Group. It is 25 miles north of Glasgow City and Glasgow (Paisley) airport is 17 miles away. It is within about 30 minutes walking distance of the town of Balloch with its shops, restaurants, supermarket and station with frequent trains to Glasgow. Loch Lomond Shores shopping centre is about 15-20 minutes walk where there are a number of retail outlets including Jenner's department store (part of the House of Fraser group) plus an aquarium and a bird of prey centre.

Helensburgh and Dumbarton are the nearest large towns which are both situated on the banks of the Clyde, to the north of Cameron House are the Highlands which have stunning views, to the east are the Trossachs with its forests, lochs, towns and country parks. To the west is the Isle of Bute and the Cowal Peninsula where there are many visitor attractions plus sites of interest. Stirling Castle is about an hour's drive. The area around Loch Lomond is good for walking, cycling, fishing and bird watching plus in the local country parks in the Trossachs can be found red squirrels.

Cameron House has a 9-hole golf course plus access to The Carrick 18-hole course situated a few minutes up the road from Cameron House. Restaurants at Cameron House include the Martin Wishart Michelin star restaurant, the Cameron Grill, and the Boathouse which is situated by the marina. The Claret Jug restaurant is situated at The Carrick. Lodge owners currently enjoy discounts at the restaurants, bars and golf facilities at both locations. Guests wishing to use the facilities at The Carrick may take advantage of a free minibus service provided by Cameron House to convey them between the two centres. Cameron House also has a leisure club use of which is free to lodge owners and their guests including two swimming pools (one a children's pool with a flume), a well-equipped gym, squash courts, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. There are also children's play facilities.

The lodge is situated within the grounds of Cameron House in a peaceful location with stunning views from the first floor lounge and balcony over the golf course, marina and Loch Lomond across to Balloch Country Park and the Castle in its grounds. The main and second bedrooms which are situated downstairs at the front of the lodge also have the same views. The lodge has three bedrooms, the principal bedroom has a large double bed with en-suite shower and bath facilities and dressing area. The second bedroom has two single beds and an en-suite bathroom. There is also another bathroom with a shower for the use of the third bedroom which houses a sauna and washer/drying machine. There are a further two beds that can be pulled down from fitted wooden housing units in the lounge area. All the bedrooms have flat screen TVs, fitted wardrobes and dressing tables.

On your arrival everything is provided in your lodge, beds are all made, towels provided for all guests so all you need is your luggage and food. The lodges are kept in good repair and items are updated when needed. Should you need any assistance with your lodge it is attended to very swiftly by lodge services. There are two parking bays either side of the lodge for its sole use that can accommodate four cars. The kitchen is well equipped with fitted units eye-level built in double oven and microwave, an electric hob, toaster and dishwasher. There is also a large fridge/freezer, sufficient quality crockery, cutlery and glasses are provided to cater for eight persons. The dining area has a dining table with eight chairs. The living area has three leather sofas, a large square coffee table, flat screen TV, DVD/CD player and free WI-FI is available. The kitchen which is cordoned off by its units, dining area and sitting area are all in the same large open plan room which you enter via double doors. This room has windows right across its width to enhance your view out of the front of the lodge. The balcony which has a table and eight chairs provided can be accessed from this room.
