This timeshare in the Royal Bali Beach Club consists of one floating week (you can choose any week as you like) in a one bedroom (sleeps 4) apartment. You can buy extra weeks and the apartment can be upgraded to a 2 bedroom apt. (sleeps 6). This year, 2014, there are 3 weeks at disposal, of which 2 can be transferred to following year(s) and be used in connection with the following years week(s). All apartments are either ground floor or 1st floor.

Originally the timeshare was specifically connected with the Jimbaran Resort, but today it gives you the option to alternate your week freely between the 4 Royal Resort destinations in Bali: Jimbaran, Candidasa, Sanur and Seminyak. Or, if you at one time should wish to see something else, against a modest fee you can make an exchange with the Royal Resort destinations in India (Goa) or Thailand (Phuket or Chang Mai). We have been to both Goa and Phuket. In addition as a member of the Royal Bali Beach Club you will get access at indeed reasonable prices to more than 4000 destinations through RCI, so you can also choose to go worldwide.

Whether you choose one or the other of the resorts you will get a spacious, fully air-conditioned luxury apartment, consisting of a bed, living room and bathroom, veranda or balcony, full or mini kitchen (at the least coffee making facilities.)

Each one of the resorts fully live up to the concept of providing a 'home away from home' while incorporating five star standards. Add to this, smiling helpful staff whose priority is to make you feel at home and satisfy all your wishes, you will have the best possible setting of a gorgeous vacation.

Jimbaran (100 metres to the beach) and Candidasa (on the beach) are situated in quiet areas, while Sanur (700 metres to the beach) and Seminyak (300 metres to the beach) lie in more urban surroundings and, like Jimbaran, only 15 to 20 minutes from the airport and Kuta.

Jimbaran, which is our 'home-resort' is a small resort with 16 one bedroom apartments, situated in two storeys with large private balconies or courtyards. There is a lovely garden with a pool area and a small restaurant. The resort is just the right size meaning the staff really can make you feel at home. On the other side of the street is the 5* Intercontinental Hotel, where you can have a splendid dinner. But you can also go for a budget-level meal with fresh seafood served by the beach shack restaurants, while you are enjoying the sunset and the tide rises to your feet. If you are a golfer there is magnificent golf course at Nusa Dua, some 10 km away.

Besides the pleasures of the resorts Bali offers a great number of sights: temples, small towns, villages, botanical gardens, Monkey Forest, museums and of course the magnificent nature with a multitude of green rice terraces.

Not far from Jimbaran, Sanur or Seminyak is the Ulu Watu Monastery, one of the 'must see' sights in Bali. (Take the warnings about the monkeys seriously, otherwise you may be robbed of glasses, caps, cameras, earrings without any hope of getting the items back).

Whereas the rest of Indonesian population are Muslims, the Balinese are Hindu and you will meet with brightly coloured processions in the streets, feast in the temples and watch performances of ancient rituals.

In Ubud (and other places) there are lots of original pieces of art, paintings, stone- and wood sculptures.

It is cheap to rent a car with or without a driver, (traffic keeps to the left). Go for example to the north coast of Bali at Lovina Beach, sail out in a guided canoe early in the morning and see the dolphins jump. That will make your day!

At last but not at least, wherever you meet the Balinese they will be incredibly hospitable, ready to help and smiling!!
