La Pinta Beach Club is in Adeje and is beautifully situated on Playa Torviscus. The bay has all the facilities which you would expect to find. Golden sand, shallow water, inflatable islands for climbing, pedalos, a few shops and a good variety of restaurants and bars. Our grandchildren had a great time on the beach and in the sea.

The Resort has 68 apartments most of which have a sea view. It has a rear entrance which leads directly on to the prom and beach and we found this to be very useful. The restaurant served a varied menu at acceptable prices, the buffet night was very good. There has been a recent upgrade to the young children's play area.

Leaving by the front entrance to the Resort, to the left are a selection of shops including a good sized supermarket, bars and restaurants and to the right within 300 yards you reach the main road and the San Eugenio CC (shopping centre) which incorporates a very large supermarket. There is also a very helpful optician which we had occasion to visit!

Most buses pass the San Eugenio CC as it is close the Bus Station in Las Americas. We have made very good use of them. A Bono ticket is available and journeys are moderately priced. We used our Bono ticket to visit Los Gigantes and found the Lido which had a lovely coffee shop and restaurant. There was an entry charge if you wanted to use the swimming pool, tennis, bowls, sun loungers etc but we didn't have sufficient time to do any of the activities but it looked worth exploring.

Our time share is a floating week. The whole Resort is the same. The week can be used at any time - Red Season. It is a one bed unit 4/2. The management fees are paid for the incoming year and will not be due again until Nov 2015.

We love the area and, in fact, the whole of South Tenerife but in respect of our ownership of this week, as in all things times change and we have to move with the them.
