Spey valley golf & country club, previously known as "Dalfaber", is situated in Aviemore in sight of the Cairngorm mountains, by the side of the spey river. Our chalet, which has recently been refurbished is a fixed week each year (aug./sept.) and enjoys a conservatory eating area, with wonderful views of the mountains.

It is in close proximity to the club house and all the amenities, including a swimming pool, a range of sports facilities and a 9 hole golf course. All of which are included in your management fees as well as a first class steak house restaurant and bar area. Our chalet is adjacent to "hole 1" on the "free" course, so if golf is your forte, you can play to your hearts content. There is also alongside this course an 18 hole championship course, for which you have to pay an additional fee, which is reduced as a member of MacDonald's.

Aviemore itself is a short walk away and is well appointed, with a range of shops and restaurants to please most tastes. Locally, of course you have the Cairngorm mountains, (a must visit), a wild life park, (which currently has the only 2 polar bears in the u.k.), and a host of other amenities to entertain the whole family. Inverness the capital city of northern Scotland is only a 30 minute drive away, with all the stores you would expect to find.

My wife and I have been owners at "Dalfaber" since 1986 and now as senior citizens, we are finding the round trip of some 1200 miles from Kent and back a little too much and so reluctantly, we wish to sell and hopefully give another family the enjoyment we have had over the years.
