The fabulous 5 star Royal Savoy Resort is in a superb position. It is located a short walk from the centre of Funchal which is the capital of Madeira, where you find many shops, restaurants, pavement cafes and bars. Funchal also boasts a world class marina, where the visiting cruise liners dock.

Madeira is a beautiful semi tropical island with many sightseeing opportunities including the famous Lavada walks. There are two top class golf courses including Clube de golf Santo da Serra, where "The Maderia Island Open" is played.

Luxuriously appointed, the resort's facilities include tastefully furnished public rooms, excellent restaurants, outdoor and indoor bars, large sunbathing terraces, three swimming pools and private access to sea bathing. Within the indoor pool area there is a beauty salon, gym and sauna. There is also reserved underground parking.

Our T1 apartment located on the seventh floor is elegantly furnished in a classical style. This large fully air conditioned apartment sleeps four people, with two bathrooms, a large dining room and lounge, fully fitted kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, hob and microwave oven. There is a television in the lounge, a DVD player with surround sound and a further television in the main bedroom. The extensive balcony offers fabulous views of the Atlantic Ocean, resort gardens and swimming pools, plus Funchal and the surrounding mountains.

We hold a fixed week mid July. Internal exchanges are possible and the Royal Savoy also works in conjunction with Interval International.
