Lakes Resort, in Orlando. Florida. It is ideally situated being less than 2 miles from the major attractions such as Seaworld, Universal Studios, Wet 'n Wild Water Park and only 6 miles from Walt Disney Land. In addition, the resort offers various restaurants, seven outdoor heated pools, hot tubs, saunas, fitness centre, serenity spa and bike hire, to name just a few.

Orlando Airport is only 16 miles away and there are many things to see such as the Kennedy Space Centre and trips to the Everglades, all within reasonable driving distances.

Our timeshare is a 3 bed air conditioned Villa situated on the fourth floor with a balcony with partial views over the lakes and is quite luxurious having a fully fitted kitchen, sunken roman bath, TV, DVD, Wi Fi, comfy leather sofa's and sleeps up to 8 people.

In addition there is an adjacent 2 bedroom lock-off which can be used simultaneously with the Villa to sleep up to 12 people or used on alternative years giving holiday accommodation for four people. This, needless to say is furnished to a similar high standard. Both Villa and lock-off are available for week 48 red. Red means that this timeshare being available in Orlando can be used all year round because of the excellent weather, and has the highest demand.

A huge advantage is that the maintenance only has to be paid every other year and will be paid by us in January giving the new owner two free years of use. The accommodation can also be used each year if divided between the Villa and the lock-off.

Having enjoyed the timeshare since 2001 my wife and I realise that we are not using the timeshare as much as we used to and now we've retired it's time to sell and move on.
