Burnside Park is situated in Bowness on Windermere in the beautiful Lake District.  The resort nestles in its own gardens and is only a two minute walk from Lake Windermere which has a wealth of water sports, sailing and other leisure activities. 

Situated in the centre of the Lake District, Bowness is an ideal base for exploring the area, whether by car or on foot. Burnside Park is next to the Burnside Hotel and shares its swimming pool, leisure club and spa.  Owners and their guests can also enjoy a meal in the hotel restaurant or a drink at the cosy bar. Having a floating week gives the opportunity of visiting at all times of year, a real advantage since the lake District has so much to offer no matter when you go. Since it is a floating week you have the choice of a ground floor or first floor cottage.

The cottage has a large comfortable lounge with leather sofas, patio doors on to the balcony or patio where there is a table and chairs, a dining area overlooking the garden, a fully equipped kitchen, a wet room and an en-suite bathroom off the main bedroom. The bedrooms have built in wardrobes, dressing tables and chests of drawers.  In addition there is a state of the art sound system and flat screen television.

The resort has a laundry room on-site for guests' use.  Each cottage has an allocated parking space with ample additional spaces for two or more cars.  The guest lounge has a Wi-Fi system free for guest's use and each Sunday there is a welcome cheese and wine party for visitors.
