Golden Sands is situated on possibly one of the best locations in Malta, on the west coast of the island, approx 30 minutes from the airport and within easy access by bus at €2.60 a day pass to anywhere on the island.  The bus stop is just outside the complex.

The complex has a breathtaking view of possibly one of the finest beaches on the island with its own private section for guests.

The hotel is 5 star and the staff are continually praised for their courteous manner to all guests. Our 2 bed apartment is on the 4th floor block 1 (The Sunset Tower) and affords glorious non obstructed views of the evening sunset together with beautiful views of the bay from the apartment near 40 foot balcony.  As the apartment is in block 1 it is not overlooked by any other block or apartment.

Apartments in block 1 are larger 2 bed units on the complex with the exception of the penthouse units.  They have a large ensuite bathroom and guest bathroom, a fully fitted kitchen complete with dishwasher, flat screen televisions in all bedrooms together with a settee in the lounge which easily converts to a double bed.

The gold season covers from October through to May with temperatures in May and October well into 26C plus.
