This timeshare week forms part of the offer of a two week period in the same apartment covering Weeks 5 and 6 - essentially the first two weeks of February. This spacious studio apartment is situated on the 3rd floor on the front of the main Club building and the balcony looks out to sea over part of the gardens of the Savoy Hotel - see photos.  The apartment can sleep four using the double sofa bed in the living area, and a curtained partition can be drawn between the living and the bed/ bathroom areas to provide privacy.  The apartment is amply furnished and has a well-equipped kitchenette.

The resort has a heated pool (outdoor) with plenty of room around it for sun loungers.  The pool area, which is adjacent to the resort's very popular Yacht Restaurant, has access to the sea for the hardier souls who wish to swim in the Atlantic.

Madeira is a stunningly beautiful, mountainous island with abundant flora and gardens.  Particularly worthwhile is a visit to the Botanical Gardens in Funchal, a taste of which is given in the photo.  The island is famous for its walks alongside the levadas - the old waterways down from the mountains; these range from easy walking to some steep climbs, but all offer outstanding views.   Funchal is renowned for its varied restaurants, many within walking distance of the Club.

The island boasts excellent bus services, but should you wish to hire a car there is free parking available at the Club. 

The Club is affiliated to RCI but we have used the exchange facility sparingly as we found that our exchanges failed to match the quality of our own timeshare.
