RCI Gold Crown Resort.  5 * reviews on Trip Advisor. Approximately 20 minutes by taxi from airport. Its a 10-15 minute walk to the beach. There are 2 restaurants on site with entertainment in both. The resort has 4 pools & 2 children's pools. There is also an indoor area with gym, squash court, free WI-FI, children's indoor play area, organised kids club and shop.

The duplex's are well equipped with a full kitchen including a fridge freezer, microwave, cooker, cutlery and cooking utensils. There are also a good selection of pans and crockery. The fully-fitted kitchen is complemented by a polished granite dining table, which seats four adults and comes complete with a full dinner service.  Also provided are toaster, kettle, coffee percolator & laundry rack. There is a flat screen satellite TV with DVD and telephone. Our experience of the service provided by the staff at this resort is second to none.

Duplex apartment
We bought this, 1 bedroom (sleeps 4) duplex for its spaciousness & the view.  The complex has a security fence all round, accessible only with your apartment key. The apartment is south facing with a totally private patio/terrace, the largest four person design on the development. There is sun and some shade all day on patio/terrace and a wonderful long view from this terrace.

The entrance is at ground level directly from the outside, not an internal corridor, leads to a fully equipped bathroom & twin bedroom with room safe in the wardrobe.

The stairs have handrail leading from the hall up to the main living area & kitchen.  The kitchen window has a view over a quiet street which we have found very useful to park a car on the occasions we have hired one.  The well above average quality furniture consists of a sofa bed, wing chair, coffee table, additional small table, wardrobe and standard lamp & table lamp & flat screen TV.

The living space leads to a well above average size south facing patio/terrace with table & chairs, sun-loungers & a parasol.  This space is what initially sold this particular property to us. This outside space is 100% private. From this area is a delightful view over roof tops punctuated by palm trees towards the sea & the beaches of Fuerteventura. Only the duplex apartments have this spectacular view.

As we are reselling two consecutive weeks a discount will be offered for a combined purchase of both weeks, weeks 21 & 22.
