Southern New England's biggest ski resort stands across the street from the 20 Vacation Village in the Berkshires buildings. The Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort peaks can easily be seen from all 360 beautifully decorated suites in this traditional New England holiday retreat.

The larger A Suites come complete with king sized beds, fully equipped kitchens, and bathrooms with Jacuzzi tubs, while the smaller B Suites feature oversized showers in their bathtubs and queen sized beds. All timeshares also feature state of the art multimedia entertainment centres, individual dining and living rooms, and private fireplaces to relax by after long days on the neighbouring slopes.

The required resort fee covers the cost of in-room safes and wireless internet access, morning coffee, water aerobics, and DVD rentals. This fee also allows guests to join in card games, bingo, arts and crafts, family movie nights, and the resort's many other fun organised activities.

The resort also features two main swimming pools, one indoors and one outdoors, along with a special pool for children and a hot tub which guests can soak in until 23:00. Poolside lounge chairs are provided on a first-come, first-served system. Guests who do not pay the extra housekeeping service fee must be responsible for keeping their own timeshares clean.

A fireplace supplies a warm atmosphere to the lobby, while each floor has its own laundry room. The Clubhouse's internet room contains a printer and computers guests can use. There is also a business centre, health club, and games arcade. Pets are permitted as long as guests inform the resort prior to arrival and keep animals away from common areas.

The Berkshires of Western Massachusetts has long been a tranquil refuge for people from the large cities of the East Coast of the United States. The Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort, conveniently situated across from Vacation Village in the Berkshires, is the biggest winter draw.

Popular summer pastimes include hiking, cycling, tennis, fishing, touring the Hancock Shaker Village, and listening to Boston Symphony performances at Tanglewood, their summer home. The Norman Rockwell Museum is open all year long.

The nearest air gateways to the Berkshires are Albany Airport, an hour's drive away near New York's state capital, and Hartford's Bradley International Airport. Many people, however, find it more convenient to use larger Boston and New York City airports, then drive to the Berkshires. The Berkshire Regional Transit Authority travels between a dozen local communities, while Pittsfield has the nearest Amtrak station.
