There is much excitement in Las Vegas about the new LINQ development which is situated at the side and back between the QUAD hotel and FLAMINGO hotel.  The Desert Club is across Koval Lane about 100 yards from the development.  There is the High Roller Obseravtion Wheel which dwarf's the London eye and will have 28 cabins each of which will hold 40 people.  There are to be 30 plus new shops, restaurants and other attractions including a Brooklyn Bowl having live concerts every night and a 32 lane bowling alley. These shops will begin business at the end of this year and all will be in operation fully at the end of next February.  The actual wheel will be fully installed and tested around May/June. Stages and a new fountain display are underway for out door live music.  This development is aimed at tourism including both adult and family style activities.

Las Vegas is spending heavily on all this, it comes under Caesars Palace Entertainment group and lots of interest has been generated from everywhere.  All the top designer shops, restaurants (including top chefs) have already committed from all over Asia and Europe.  Gordon Ramsey will have a restaurant there along with top USA chefs.

Desert Club has now been rated as Gold Crown by RCI .  I will keep one week myself and consider it a great investment. I have had it since 1993 the week it will guarantee any purchaser better facilities than any hotel room in Las Vegas.

The apartment is on a floating week basis and contains living room (with fireplace), fully fitted kitchen, Roman tub in the bathroom, beautifully appointed bedroom with a walk in wardrobe and safe.  Balcony with a side room containing washing machine, dryer and iron/board.  It really is a beautiful apartment in the best position for a stroll to the strip but away from the casino's if you want some peace.  The resort provides free shuttles downtown to Fremont St and frequent shuttles to the Rio and other hotels.
