There is a large main bathroom (bath/shower/toilet) and a well-equipped kitchen area with electric oven and hob. A balcony runs the width of the apartment and is accessible from both the living area and the bedroom. The balcony is very private not being overlooked from any of the other apartments and has a dining table and 4 chairs. The apartment is serviced daily.

The building is served by a lift and has a private pool with direct access to the sea for swimming and snorkelling. The poolside bar and restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and hosts special/themed evenings. Excursions are run direct from the resort to other parts of the island.

Two Spar-type shops are nearby and well-stocked for food basics. For a larger selection, including fresh fruit, vegetables and meat, the nearest supermarket is Pingo Doce in the basement of the Dolce Vita shopping centre (15 minute walk).

Funchal is a bustling town, a mix of old and new with many cafés and restaurants throughout. There is plenty to do in the town if you don't want to spend too long at the pool or stray too far. Highlights include: The Madeira Story Centre; sightseeing bus tours; boat/fishing trips; Qunita das Cruzes; Museu Freitas; Agedas de São Francisco (wine production) and the cable car which takes you up to the village of Monte from where you can visit Monte Palace Tropical Gardens and Quinta Jardins do Imperador. A second cable car links Monte to the Botanical Gardens.

The apartment is for sale for week 18 which falls either at the end of April or beginning of May and sometimes coincides with Madeira's famous Flower Festival.
