Due to ill health, which now limits our travel, we have decided to sell our two weeks (no. 40 and 41) in the 5* Gold Crown Fortina Spa Resort in Sliema, Malta.  There is an internal exchange/deposit system in operation for your stay in Fortina, if required.   It is also affiliated to  RCI.

The Studio sleeps 2 and is on the 7th floor (lifts), with a large balcony, with sunbeds, giving uninterrupted,  ever changing, views across the waterfront to Valletta, entrance to Marsamxett harbour, Monoel Island and Sliema Creek. The studio has  air conditioning, plenty of storage space and a large bathroom with both shower and bath.

The Fortina has all the facilities expected of 5* including, Spa with numerous treatments available, hairdresser, and 5 speciality restaurants.  The airport is approximately 30 minutes drive and Fortina will arrange a taxi, if requested.   There is also a bus service.  Unusually, the maintenance fee includes HALF BOARD with meals taken in the buffet or Italian restaurants, with various upgrades available if you wish to eat in the other restaurants.  There is a regular bus service making the whole island, with its wealth of historical sites,beaches, gardens etc, easily accessible.   Buses, ferries, water taxis, etc. depart a short walk along the flat promenade.   Shops and restaurants are also in easy walking distance.
