Accommodation is located in the East Village and overlooks the signature Arnold Palmer golf course, the area is surrounded by woodland. 1,275 square feet, accommodates up to 8 people, two bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, television in living room and bedrooms, Spa tub with hydro jets, screened patio/balcony.

The resort is located close to Walt Disney World, just four miles away and also close to all other Orlando attractions and the villa is allocated week is number 7 (February). Orange Lake assign this as Peak Season. The week can be reserved from between 3 years and 13 months prior to arrival, members would have other options for resort stays which would not need to be reserved as far in advance.

Additional benefits can be acquired with enrolment with the Holiday Inn Club Membership which are not included in the sale but I believe can be accessed and attracts an annual membership fee (2013 $104).

I purchased the week in 2008. Aside from the sheer luxury at the resort which is quite stunning, the main selling point to me was the additional membership with Holiday Inn Club Vacations which assigned a points value to the villa. For my particular accommodation this is 166,000 points. The points are assigned annually as long as membership is maintained and unused points can be carried over for a further 12 months.

There are many other options available that are too numerous to mention here, but include either reserving the week or using the points value to exchange for stays at other Orange Lake Resorts, as an additional benefit I was automatically enrolled as an affiliate member with RCI which brought additional benefits of exchanging my points to stay at various RCI affiliated resorts which are located across the globe. The points exchange on a 2:1 basis therefore 166,000 points with my Holiday Inn membership becomes 88,000 under my RCI membership.

I have enjoyed holidays every year of ownership and have been able to exchange with RCI and have stayed in Spain (Malaga), Portugal (Albufeira), Italy (Rome), Canary Islands (Tenerife), Balearic Islands (Ibiza).

Another benefit of membership was automatic enrolment with Priority Club points, under this scheme your points can be exchanged and used for hotel stays. The points are switched on a 5:4 basis and usually incur a nominal fee. However any points exchanged do not expire.
