Leoniki Residence is situated in Platanes Crete. Which is about 4km's from centre of Rethymnon,
& 59km's from Chania Airport & 69km's from Heraklion Airport.

This is a well placed Resort, Affiliated to R.C.I, with numerous awards ( gold & Silver) during the 13 years we've been using it.The Facilities include those at adjoining Grand Leoniki & are as follows.2 Childrens Pools,Indoor & 3 Outdoor Pools, Jacuzzi,Sauna, Gym,& Masseur Available.Poolside Bar & Snacks at main pool (Towels also for use at pools on Complex). Excellent Restaurant.

Entertainment at least twice a week.The Resorts nearest beach is across main street. It is many k's long with many beach bars & Taverna's. to right & left. Sunbeds & Parasols are plentiful. Beach volley ball nets can be found at intervals along beach. Platanes has many good Bars, Tavernas & Restaurants, also a Nightclub.There are 3 grocery stores (1 is a Lidl) , 2 very good Bakers.There is a childrens playground along main road to Rethymnon.A Pharmacy & Doctors Clinic are about 1km away in Adelos Campos.

Crazy Golf is only a few minutes walk away as is the pick-up point for the little trains. These do a variety of sightseeing tours. Coach tours are also available in Resort or Leoniki Office, as is Car rental.(Well worth while). there is a frequent bus service into Rethymnon, where there is much to see & do, & where water sports are available.Some of the places worth a visit are Georgeopopous (a seaside resort), Lake Kornas in the hills above.Chania has much to see. (indoor market, Leather Shops, museum & Venetian Harbour). Views from above Souda bay are very Scenic.

Heraklion also offers much Historically & Knossos is nearby, another must see for any one interested in History.Platanes is in a perfect position for exploring the Western end of Crete.

Week for Sale is Red week 20 which falls towards the end of May/Early June. This is usually Whitsun & always a School holiday in the U K.It can be Exchanged for another Resort/Country.It is possible to sometimes have 2 weeks by having a smaller unit.

This unit is a Masonette on 2 floors. Entrance is at 1st floor level & at present there is no lift,& the unit is out of use for refurbishment.(A one bedroom apartment is normal exchange) At entrance level masonette has partial kitchen,shower/toilet,2 sofa beds, dining area, air conditioning, TV& Telephone, small balcony. Upstairs has full bathroom & Large double bedroom with a large balcony.

Telephone & Air Conditioning. Masonette overlooks apartment & Grand Leoniki. The Resort has car Parking to the rear. Sadly we need to Sell for Health & Financial reasons. We have spent many Happy Holidays here.
