My week is in April in high season around Easter holidays. I usually use my week for worldwide exchange via Diala n Exchange (DAE). Exchange was never a problem. The maintenance fee is only for a studio but I always exchanged it to a bigger apartment without additional cost.

Goa, which overlooks the Arabian Sea and features miles of beachfront with little of the unrestrained bustle of India’s big cities, is one of the most attractive coastal destinations of India. A year-round destination with sublime weather, the Royal Goan Beach Club-Haathi Mahal, or Elephant Palace, has a fabulous setting amid palm trees and close to the River Sal. It is nicely landscaped and loaded with amenities, including restaurants and recreational facilities.

Timeshare options here include pretty one- and two-bedroom apartments with accents of Portugal and India in their layout and furnishings. The units are set-up around a central pool area and come with access to the extensive amenities of the complex, regardless of size or week owned. Rooms are minimalist and comfy, with lounge/dining room and partial kitchen, and a bedroom with a king-sized bed and a spacious bathroom.

It is equally impressive in its offering of recreational facilities; there are no less than three refreshing swimming pools, including water slides for the kids and an outdoor Jacuzzi. In addition, a fully-equipped spa offers Ayurvedic and beauty treatments, and there is a gym and an air-conditioned squash court. Visitors can also enjoy the terraced gardens and afternoon tea, and there is a convenience store here, too. Cavelossim Beach is just a few hundred metres away and comes with umbrellas and beach shacks for eating.
