White Sands Beach Club is situated on the far side of the Arenal Den Casteel bay with its own pool as well as access to the beach. Whilst the beach isn't private it is separated by the rocks from the main beach and the bay is an ideal area for swimming or snorkelling or just playing in the sand! There are several shops bars and restaurants close to the resort as well as one on-site, so whilst a car is great for exploring the rest of the Island it isn't essential. If you do have a car there is parking on the road outside the development.

The unit itself is two bedrooms with a sofa bed in the living room allowing a maximum occupancy of 6. The main bedroom has a small balcony and looks out over the bay itself whilst the back bedroom has a door to a small area with a spiral staircase leading up to the private roof terrace. Inside there is a bathroom on the top floor with the bedrooms as well as a shower room on the ground floor. The kitchen is well appointed and there is satellite TV available if you need any more diversions. In front of the unit is shaded porch ideal for sitting or eating, in fact we seldom used the dining table inside preferring to use the table outside for meals.

We purchased at White Sands over 20 years ago and it proved ideal for family holidays on the beach and in the pool. We also enjoyed touring the island to visit other beaches and some of the attractions such as the Fiesta. As the kids have grown up now we're changing our destinations for holidays and last visited White sands in 2011.
