The lodge is all on the ground floor and sleeps eight people.  It is available for week 14, which is at the beginning of April and sometimes coincides with Easter.  There is electric heating throughout.  It has three large bedrooms, two twins and one master double which has an en-suite bathroom and walk-in wardrobe.  There is a second family bathroom with a shower over the bath.  A large fully fitted kitchen complete with a cooker with oven and four ringed hob, a washing machine, dishwasher and large upright fridge/freezer.  The dining area has a table and chairs to seat eight people.  The very large sitting area has two armchairs and two sofas, one of which converts to a double bed, a flat screen television with DVD player and a multi-fuel burner.  There is a covered veranda at the front of the lodge with raised planters that usually have flowers growing, and parking space for two cars.  There is further car parking about 20 metres away.  At the side of the lodge there is a small woodland which is made up of very tall conifer trees where squirrels and birds can occasionally be seen.  This lodge is being sold because it was bought for my mother to have holidays, but she is now 97 years old and unable to travel long distances.

The Pantglas Owners Club is a holiday resort and leisure club in the countryside of idyllic Carmarthen shire, Wales, which is owned and managed by its owners.  The resort offers a heated indoor swimming pool, a well equipped gym, a steam room, a hot tub, tennis courts, an outdoor children's play area and a five a side football pitch for the energetic.  There is also table tennis, snooker, pool tables and a darts board inside the Mews building, as well as a small play area for very young children.  For those wishing to stay in their lodges there is a book and DVD library.  There is a cosy fully licensed coffee shop with a multi-fuel burner where you can purchase hot and cold bar meals as well as snacks, coffee, tea, soft and alcoholic drinks.  The original coach house to the historic manor house which was built here in the early 1800's, (named Pantglas Hall, but only the tower is left standing), is now a lovely restaurant with another multi-fuel burner and exposed stone walls, which is perfect for that special evening meal with its a la carte menu.   Everything is within walking distance of the lodges, but there is also a road system for those who would rather travel around Pantglas by car.  In front of the tower is a small lake with several ducks, and there are views over the Black Mountains from several areas within the resort.  The Pantglas Owners Club is a member of RCI and is a Silver Crown resort.

The Pantglas Owners Club is the perfect base to explore South West Wales with its wonderful history, scenery and traditional market towns, such as LLandeilo and Carmarthen.  The Brecon Beacons and the Black Mountains are within easy reach, as are Pembrokeshire, Cardigan and the Gower Peninsula.  There are miles of unspoilt countryside and coast which are wonderful for walking or just sitting and watching.  The National Botanical Gardens and the Aberglasney Gardens are also well worth a visit.  There are several castles and manor houses in the area, some of which are free.  You can visit St, David's, the smallest city in Britain, with it's large cathedral, and perhaps take a ride on Gwili Steam Railway.  Swansea and Cardiff, the capital of Wales, are great for shopping.
