The apartment, at the Royal Savoy Vacation Club situated on the coast of Madeira, is in the middle of the Rotunda on the second floor. The Club is within walking distance of Funchal which has a variety of bars, cafes, restaurants and shops and is approximately a 45 minute drive from the airport. Car parking is available on-site if required.

The apartment is available week 17 and is ideal for families or parties, not exceeding six persons in total. There are two double bedrooms, one ensuite, which has a shower and a bath, and the other a private shower/washroom, There is also a third toilet off the entrance hall. Towelling robes and slippers are provided for all guests. The sleeping accommodation for the other two guests is provided by a pull-out sofa in the lounge, made up by the daily maid service in the evening if required. There is a full size kitchen with a hotplate and a microwave (convection), dishwasher and refrigerator. The large living room has a dining area, also a television with a DVD player; as have the two bedrooms. The living room and both bathrooms have telephones. The apartment, which is on the second floor served by two lifts, has three balconies, one of which has a patio table and chairs; gives views of Reid's Hotel and the sea to enable the arrival and departure of the cruise ships to be observed. The apartment is fully air-conditioned and has a safe in the master bedroom. The Club is affiliated to Interval International.

There are two large main swimming pools and a small heated children's pool outside. There is also a heated indoor pool next to the Health Centre which has a Gymnasium, Sauna, Turkish Bath and a Beauty Centre. There is a Library on the first floor which is full of books largely donated by the club members. Dinner may be booked at the Armada, a La Carte restaurant or light snacks and drinks may be enjoyed at three other bars.

Madeira is a most beautiful island in the azure blue waters of the Atlantic. The climate is mild all year round; the air is sweet with the scent of flowers and fennel. There are many fantastic gardens open to visitors e.g. Monte Palace Tropical Gardens can be reached by road or Cable Car from Funchal with the possibility of returning on the famous Toboggan Run.
