I purchased this 2 bedroom unit for 6 adults at Hollywood Mirage Club, Tenerife, week 17 in 1991. The resort opened in 1992. While onsite, I could see the 5* quality of the construction, appearance & the resort amenities. I purchased this week purely for "exchange purposes", because I live in Toronto & knew that I would likely not return to Tenerife, because of the long distance.

I deposited my week with RCI every year at least 6-12 months in advance of check-in, so have had excellent trading power. I have always received a 2 bedroom unit of equal or greater quality in all the desinations I requested. For example: Mayan Palace, Sheraton Buganvilias, Canto del Sol, Plaza Pelicanos, Villa del Palmar & Westin Regina in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Other excellent destinations since 1992 have included Cabo San Lucas, Cancun & Cozumel in Mexico, the Caribbean islands of St. Martin, Aruba, Curacao & Bonaire as well as Fiji in the South Pacific. Now that I am retired, I spend up to 3 winter months at a time in a destination, so renting an apartment is more practical than continuing to exchange this week of timewhare. This is my only reason for wanting to sell this week.
