The Royal Savoy Vacation Club is a five star resort in Funchal, Madeira.  The complex has access to the sea, two open air swimming pools, a children's pool, an outside Jacuzzi, an indoor swimming with a small gymnasium, landscaped gardens, and a good restaurant with an outside bar for drinks and snacks.  The sun beds are in quiet areas with some in secluded areas.

The timeshare for sale is a fixed week 45 that usually commences around the second week in November when it is a good time to rest before the Christmas rush.  There are many good and reasonably priced restaurants within walking distance.

The apartment is on the 3rd floor up from sea level (there are lifts) and 4th floor down from street level and overlooks the harbour, pool, garden and sea.  It has a balcony with two sun beds, a table and chairs, with doors from both the lounge and bedroom.  The bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with a second bathroom for the guests who sleep on the pull-out sofa in the lounge.  The partial kitchen is well equipped and the apartment has air conditioning.  There are televisions in both the bedroom and lounge.

We have had several delightful holidays at the resort, but due to a major stoke to my husband, our holidays are curtailed.
