A well-appointed 2 bedroom apartment, with fully fitted kitchen and a large lounge with Freeview TV and a DVD player. Situated in a small complex of similar properties, the apartment is adjacent to Glendorgal Hotel, which is on a 17 acre private headland overlooking the beautiful Porth Beach, to which there is direct access. The hotel , just a 2 minute walk away, has an excellent Brasserie and an indoor swimming pool and gymnasium complex.

The apartment sleeps a maximum of 6, with kitchen/dining area and lounge on the first floor and both bedrooms and bathroom on the ground floor. The lounge allows access to a private first floor balcony, with views across the complex and the headland beyond. The accommodation is for a fixed week each year, Week 2, which is the second week in January.

If you are looking for a quiet relaxing break just after Christmas, this is ideal, with the opportunity of many invigorating cliff top walks, or take advantage of the pool and gymnasium if you want to lose some of those extra pounds put on during the festive season. If you prefer a livelier holiday, it is situated on the outskirts of Newquay, just a short stroll from the town centre, where there are many eating and entertainment possibilities. Newquay itself is centrally located on the Atlantic coast of Cornwall, so access to other parts of the county is easy if touring and sightseeing is preferred.

You are free to use the accommodation for yourself in the appointed week, or you may wish to offer it to a friend or relative. Another alternative is to "bank" the week with a time share operator (we use both RCI and Dial an Exchange) and exchange the week for an alternative venue and time, subject to availability - probably the most exciting exchange we had, was when RCI were offering "2 for 1" and we were able to swap for 2 weeks in Naples, Florida in September of that year.

Cornwall normally benefits from an unusually mild climate in January because of the proximity to the sea and whilst it may not be "sunbathing" weather, it can be very pleasant. We hope you enjoy the apartment as much as we have over the years.
