Aviemore Skiing Season Timeshare. Macdonald Dalfaber Golf and Country Club is located on the edge of Aviemore village, in the Cairngorms, Scotland. It is close driving distance to several ski-lifts. It is within driving distance of Loch Ness; Inverness; Fort William and the Moray Firth coastline.  The Country Club has an attractive heated indoor pool, bar and restaurant, all are only a short walk from the house. The rear of the house overlooks a 9 hole golf course which is available to timeshare owners, as is the tennis court. There are a number of restaurants, takeaways, shops and a supermarket in Aviemore.

Our fixed week starts on the sixth Saturday every year (9th - 16th February 2013), there is invariably snow on the Cairgorms that time of year and the ski lifts are then open. Week 6 is a school holiday week for parts of the UK. This is a "Patio" style property which is a purpose built 2 storey end of terrace holiday home with 3 bedrooms (sleeps 8), 2 bathrooms, fully fitted kitchen/diner, large comfortable lounge with a pull-out bed. There is a TV in the lounge and the kitchen has a cooker, microwave, dishwasher, table and chairs and is equipped for 8 people. There is a first floor conservatory. The whole house and conservatory are heated, there is a small enclosed garden and parking.

There are wonderful views of the Cairngorms from the lounge, conservatory and kitchen. For the romantics, St. Valentine's night normally falls during this week.

The house is well maintained and is always in a good clean condition. Bedding and towels can be hired if required.

Our reason for the selling is that my wife and I have now reached retirement age, one of us has 2 artificial knees, the ski slopes are no longer a challenge - but an impossibility. We have enjoyed this week for holidays during the last 12 years (6 years as owners).
