Pestana Grand Week 40 (red) 2 bedroomed apartment sleeps 6. The Pestana Grand is a 5 star hotel situated just off the main coastal road 3km west of Funchal city centre. Near to a large shopping centre with many first class eating houses. Frequent buses to the centre of town. The hotel also has its own bus service which runs throughout the day until 4pm.

The deluxe apartment has 2 bedrooms, one en-suite, on the 2nd floor near to the lift @ overlooks the ocean. Bedroom 2 is a double with an adjacent shower room. The lounge area has a sofa bed. The kitchen is very well equipped with microwave etc. All 3 rooms have access to a large veranda with sun loungers etc. There are 3 TVs. The apartment is fully air conditioned and has a free daily maid service.

The hotel has 2 restaurants, an outside eating facility, a bar and a library. A large swimming pool with water features together with indoor pool, sauna and jacuzzi. There is a small shop and ladies hairdresser. Unfortunately illness means that we are unable to travel to Madeira.
