Alto Golf and Country Club is situated in the delightful village of Alvor, on the Algarve, about 45 minutes' drive from Faro Airport and midway between the towns of Portimao ( 10 min. ) and Lagos(15 min.). There are many shops and very good restaurants in Alvor, together with a very attractive harbour front with fishing boats. There is an excellent beach within walking distance and many others within an easy drive.

The resort is an R.C.I. Gold Crown resort and has both outdoor and indoor swimming pools, tennis courts, a gym. and very pretty gardens. On-site is the delightful a la carte restaurants, Cottons, very close to the apartment. Golf is available at the nearby Alto Golf Course, an excellent course designed by Sir Henry Cotton. The weather in November is usually warm and sunny, less fierce than in the Summer and perfect for golf.

The apartment is on the first floor, with parking directly underneath. There are two bedrooms, each with full bathroom, a spacious, fully fitted kitchen which has a full cooker, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave. The living/dining room is most attractively furnished, includes a double bed-settee, and has satellite television, a dvd player and a music centre.

The spacious balcony overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and is perfect for watching the sun go down. The whole apartment has air conditioning.

We have enjoyed Alto Club for over twenty years and have also successfully exchanged through R.C.I.for other quality resorts in several years.
