Miami is an all-time favourite holiday destination for its glorious weather, amazing shopping and great choice of activities, nightlife and food, much of which is concentrated on and around South Beach on Miami Beach island. The Crystal Beach Suites are just minutes from the beach area and offer a selection of affordable timeshare apartments.

The magic of Miami Beach is easily accessed from the studios and one-bedroomed suites and, for those who don’t want to miss out on their daily workouts, the in-house health club is a full fitness facility with free weights as well as exercise machines and cardio equipment. South Beach’s boardwalk backs the complex, giving endless running and jogging, and there’s an outdoor swimming pool on site.

All the suites offer kitchenettes and are divided into standard and premium offerings, with the basic studio Standard Suite fitted with a queen-sized bed and the Standard Oceanfront Suite boasting ocean and poolside views. The Standard Large Suite is one-bedroomed, and sleeps four, with a queen-sized bed and a sofa bed in the living area.

The more spacious premium suites are all one-bedroomed, with enhanced facilities including granite countertops, king-sized beds and plasma TVs. Free WiFi internet access is supplied, and there’s an ATM on-site. Furnishings are basic but comfortable, and the pool area is a bonus given the beachside setting of the accommodation.

Right outside the complex are shops including convenience stores and a choice of eateries, and shopaholics are just a five-minute drive from Miami’s famed shopping malls and designer factory outlets. Aventura Mall, Lincoln Road Mall and the Bal Harbour stores are all worth a visit, and Miami’s busy port is a short drive away.

Miami’s South Beach district is famous for its iconic Art Deco quarter, its watersports, buzzing nightlife haunts and the huge choice of cuisine in its amazing restaurants. For a cultural foray, South Beach has a choice of museums including the Wolfsonian, the Jewish Museum and the Bass Museum of Art.

Boat tours around the mesmerising Florida Everglades with their mangrove forests and tropical wetlands are a must-do. Here you’ll see alligators and crocodiles, turtles, exotic bird species and unspoiled nature . For celebrity buffs, a tour of Star Island lets you marvel and the mansions of famous movie and music greats such as Madonna and Will Smith.
