Spacious and comfortable 2 bed (sleep 6) apartment in the charming and peaceful Spanish style complex of Cala Pi, which is located on the south coast of Mallorca, approximately forty five minutes drive from the airport.

The location is beautiful. The complex is set on a cliff with a short walk down steps to the most picturesque sandy beach, which is safe for snorkelling and swimming, in the clear, turquoise sea. From the beach, there is a lovely walk over the cliffs into the surrounding countryside.

The complex has been awarded the RCI Hospitality Award for consistent high member comment card ratings in the areas of hospitality and check-in. It has pretty gardens and well kept grounds, with a restaurant, bar, gym, outdoor jacuzzi and two beautiful well kept outdoor swimming pools set amidst palm trees. There is entertainment provided several evenings per week. Wi-Fi is available at a charge, and there is a children's park and a mini-club during the summer.

The light and airy apartment is on the 2nd floor accessed by a lift and there is free parking available nearby. There are no units above, or to the left of the apartment.
It has recently been refurbished with new chairs, settee, curtains, mattresses and quilts. It has a large lounge with a sofa bed and dining area with table and chairs. Off the lounge there is a balcony with table and chairs. There are 2 light and spacious bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed and generous wardrobes containing a safe. The second bedroom has a double bed and generous wardrobes. There is a bathroom with toilet, sink, bath, shower and bidet. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a microwave oven. There is a very useful laundry/drying room with washing machine.

The apartment facilities include air conditioning, phone, satellite TV, Hi-Fi system, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and safe. Rooms are cleaned and tidied daily. Bed linen and towels are provided.

Stairs from the lounge lead up to a large private roof terrace with panoramic sea views, sun beds, table and chairs, sink and barbecue. The roof terrace is excellent for peaceful sunbathing, reading and barbecues, and has a night light.

Organised trips are available, but a car is required if you wish to explore the island independently. There is an excellent Saturday market at Santanyi, as well as many other markets on different days around the island. The beautiful white sand beach of Es Trenc is a short drive away.

Further highlights of the island include a visit to the quaint village of Vallemossa which is situated deep in the heart of the Sierra de Tramuntana mountains, and taking the train between Palma and Soller. This charming train runs from bustling central Palma past Bunyola's olive groves and Alfabia gardens and through the serenity of the Tramuntana Mountains to the atmospheric and unspoilt town of Soller.

Week 20 falls in mid to late May each year, when the island is full of brightly coloured flowers, and the beach holiday season has begun. Temperatures are warm to hot, and there is plenty to do and see, especially if you are interested in wildlife.
